Today's modern Western world of apathetic voter turnouts, combined with current trends toward more extreme conservatism, provoked me to create my only politically-inspired line of jewelry. These political considerations, combined with my love of history, and the beauty of the art nouveau and art deco styles of the turn of the century, are responsible for my creation of Remember the Suffragettes. This jewelry line is inspired by the suffragette groups of England and the Americas, and each piece is a tribute to the remarkable women who fought to bring equality to a deeply unequal world.
